Privacy

What Pacy measures, what it never collects, how long it is kept and how to decline.

The short version

Pacy measures how the site is used. Nothing is collected until you say yes, the identifiers are random, and declining costs you nothing.

Two random identifiers are generated in your browser — one kept for the browser, one for the visit. They are random values and are not derived from anything about you.
For each page: the path, the referring site, any campaign parameters in the link you followed, and your window width.
Derived from your browser's user-agent string: a device type, browser and operating system.
A country, region or city, where the hosting layer supplies one.

Your IP address is not stored on the event.
No precise location and no coordinates.
No name, email or account identifier is attached to analytics.
No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers. The data is first-party and stays with Pacy.

No request is made and nothing is recorded. Your choice is kept in your own browser and you are not asked again.

Events expire on a retention period set by the operator, which is 90 days by default and is capped at two years. Expired events are removed.

Clearing your browser storage for this site clears the stored choice and the identifiers with it, and Pacy will ask again.

Pacy sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Signing in sets a session cookie, which is what keeps you signed in and nothing else.
