Corrections policy
How to report a mistake on Pacy, and how corrections to scores and articles are published.
How to report a mistake
Write to the correction address on the contact page with the page and what is wrong with it.
What happens then
Every report is read. A factual error is corrected as soon as it is confirmed, whatever time it arrives.
How corrections are shown
- A score correction is marked on the match itself. The card carries a note saying the score was corrected and when, so a reader who saw the wrong figure learns that it changed rather than quietly seeing a different number.
- A correction to an article is appended to the article, dated, and says what was wrong. The original wording is described rather than silently replaced.
- A clarification — where nothing was factually wrong but the wording misled — is handled the same way.
What is not quietly changed
Pacy does not delete an article to resolve a complaint about it, and does not edit a published claim out of existence without saying so. A page that has been corrected says that it has been.
