Warren and Rodgers carry Pittsburgh past Indianapolis 34-22

Jaylen Warren scores twice and Aaron Rodgers throws three touchdown passes as Pittsburgh beats Indianapolis 34-22 at Acrisure Stadium.

Pittsburgh's 34-22 win over Indianapolis at Acrisure Stadium on 11 October 2026 was built on two long touchdowns from Jaylen Warren and three scoring passes from Aaron Rodgers, before a crowd of 66,503. AP reports the Steelers are now 3-0 at home this season.

Never behind, never far away

AP reports that the Steelers never trailed, though the Colts pulled within one point three times and Pittsburgh answered each time. Pacy's period scores show the gap widening: 7-6 after the first quarter, 17-13 at half and 24-19 after three. Pittsburgh then added 10 points in the fourth quarter to Indianapolis's 3.

AP places Warren's 80-yard catch-and-run in the first quarter and his 50-yard run in the third. CBS Sports reports that Rodgers' third touchdown pass, a 17-yard throw to Pat Freiermuth, came with 6:40 left.

Warren's 188 yards from scrimmage

Warren carried 15 times for 101 yards, a 6.7-yard average, and scored once on the ground. He also caught six passes for 87 yards and a touchdown on six targets. That adds up to 188 yards from scrimmage, and AP reports both of his scores covered at least 50 yards.

Rookie Germie Bernard made his first NFL start and caught six passes for 80 yards, a career best, according to Sportsnet Pittsburgh. Pacy's stats show nine targets for Bernard, more than anyone else in the Steelers' receiving group.

Rodgers, Freiermuth and a Colts passing game without a score

Rodgers completed 22 of 31 passes for 235 yards with three touchdowns, no interceptions and a 125.1 passer rating. Freiermuth had five catches for 44 yards, and CBS Sports credits him with two touchdown catches, from 1 and 17 yards.

Indianapolis had the bigger passing line on paper. Daniel Jones threw for 267 yards, more than Rodgers' 235, but CBS Sports reports he threw no touchdowns and no interceptions on 24 completions in 44 attempts. Tyler Warren led the Colts with seven catches for 83 yards.

The numbers behind the score

Indianapolis held the ball for 32:00 to Pittsburgh's 28:00 and ran 69 plays to the Steelers' 54. Pittsburgh still gained more yardage, 352 to 332, because it averaged 6.5 yards per play against the Colts' 4.8.

The rushing line is where Pittsburgh pulled ahead in efficiency: 5.8 yards per carry against 2.8 for Indianapolis. Neither side turned the ball over. Colts.com framed the loss around stalled drives and explosive plays allowed, and CBS Sports reports that Spencer Shrader made all five of his field-goal attempts as Indianapolis drives stalled in Pittsburgh territory.

What it does to the standings

The Steelers are 3-2 and sit level with Cleveland at .600 in the AFC North, behind Baltimore at 3-1. Their last two games were a 30-27 home win over Cincinnati on 27 September and a 24-27 loss at Cleveland on 2 October.

AP reports Indianapolis fell to 2-3, which leaves them second in the AFC South behind Jacksonville at 4-1 (.800). Over their last three games the Colts went 2-1, scoring 79 points and allowing 63: a 30-13 win at Washington on 4 October, a 19-17 home win over Houston on 27 September, and a 30-33 loss at Kansas City on 21 September. AP also reports Pittsburgh has won 10 of the 12 meetings between the two clubs.

What comes next

Pittsburgh's next game is at Tampa Bay in Week 6, according to Steelers Now. Injuries are the first thing to check: AP reports Ben Skowronek (calf) and Roman Wilson (hand) left in the second quarter, and T.J. Watt was treated for a facial injury and returned wearing a visor. The trip to Tampa Bay will test whether the mix of Warren's runs and catches and Rodgers' arm can repeat what it produced on 11 October.
