Cam Little's 57-yard kick as time expires gives the Jaguars a 19-17 win in London
Jacksonville beat Philadelphia 19-17 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 11 October, with a late field goal after the Eagles' kickoff call, and move to 4-1.
Cam Little's 57-yard field goal as time expired, per CBS Sports, gave the Jacksonville Jaguars a 19-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in London on 11 October. Per NBC Sports Philadelphia, Jacksonville moved to 4-1 and Philadelphia lost a third straight game.
How it unfolded
Jacksonville scored first, with Trevor Lawrence finding Parker Washington from 51 yards in the first quarter, per CBS Sports. Philadelphia scored 14 in the second quarter, including a 62-yard Jalen Hurts pass to Darius Cooper, and led 14-7 at half time. Little's 34-yard field goal in the third quarter cut the gap to 14-10, and Lawrence's 27-yard touchdown pass to Washington in the fourth put Jacksonville ahead 16-14. The extra point was missed after a bad snap, CBS Sports reports.
Jake Elliott's 48-yard field goal put Philadelphia back in front at 17-16 with eight seconds left, per CBS Sports. Ameer Abdullah then returned a kickoff 53 yards, which ProFootballTalk says set up Little's winning kick with one second on the clock. Philadelphia had chosen to kick off into the field of play rather than through the end zone, and CBS Sports reports that Nick Sirianni said afterwards he made the wrong decision:
"I didn't make the right decision, and I lost us that game." Sirianni, per NBC Sports Philadelphia
The numbers behind the win
Jacksonville were the more productive side. They gained 408 yards on 68 plays, an average of 6.0 per play, while Philadelphia managed 232 yards on 59 plays, or 3.9. Jacksonville's 306 net passing yards came on 24 completions from 39 attempts, and the Jaguars rushed for 102 yards on 27 carries against 22 yards on 18 for the Eagles.
The finer numbers were closer. Jacksonville converted two of four fourth downs, Philadelphia none of two, and the Jaguars were 5-of-16 on third down to the Eagles' 6-of-15. Jacksonville had the only turnover, Lawrence's interception. The penalty columns cut the other way: Jacksonville were flagged 13 times for 100 yards, Philadelphia seven times for 43.

Standout performers
Lawrence's 331 passing yards were the headline figure, with two touchdowns, one interception, a 95.1 rating and a 32.5 QBR. Washington was his main target, with six catches for 124 yards and two scores, including a 51-yard long reception. Abdullah's three kick returns covered 98 yards, and Foyesade Oluokun led the Jaguars with 10 tackles while Travon Walker recorded half a sack.
Two records heading in different directions
Jacksonville's last two results before London were a 22-17 win at Cincinnati on 4 October and a 35-6 home win over New England on 27 September, a run that produced 57 points and allowed 23. Philadelphia's last two were a 20-24 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams on 4 October and a 7-27 defeat at the Chicago Bears on 29 September, a stretch of 27 points scored and 51 conceded. At 4-1, Jacksonville are flying; at 2-3, Philadelphia are searching.
What to watch next
Injury news is the first thing to track. Per ProFootballTalk, Jacksonville lost left tackle Anton Harrison to an apparent knee injury, carted off in the third quarter, and long snapper Ross Matiscik to an apparent shoulder injury. Per CBS Sports, Philadelphia's Will Shipley left in the second quarter with a foot injury, and Jonathan Greenard was ruled out before kickoff with an ankle problem. CBS Sports also reports that Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and Bryan Thomas Jr. were ejected after a scrum.
For Jacksonville, the question is whether the penalty count in London was a one-off or a habit. For Philadelphia, the kickoff call will be the story until the offence and special teams show they can close a tight game.
